Fire teams called to put out Aberdeen rubbish fires

Concern as been expressed for rural fire cover following a fall in the number of retained firefighters.
Two separate bin fires had to be put out by firefighters in Aberdeen tonight.
A fire appliance from Aberdeen Central was called after a fire broke out on a park off of Harris Drive, Tillydrone, at 9.40pm.
Another fire crew from Altens was called to put out a fire at a lay-by off of the A90 Aberdeen to Stonehaven road, across from the Shell garage near Kincorth, at 10.20pm.
Nobody was hurt in either of the fires, which were both brought under control quickly.
