A man was assaulted by a would-be thief in Aberdeen last week.
The 26-year-old suffered minor injuries during the attempted theft on Berryden Road, at the junction of Belmont Road. The incident happened at about 3.45pm last Tuesday.
The attacker was a man, described as being between 6ft 1in and 6ft 3in, and of skinny build. He has ginger or brown goatee-style beard.
He was wearing a blue baseball cap with a silver NYC logo on it and a grey tracksuit with a single white stripe down the arms and legs.
Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen the incident to call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
