Aberdeenshire planning chiefs have given the go ahead for a new Sainsbury’s, which will occupy one of four new units to be built at Midmill, Kintore. Garioch Area committee approved the proposal this week. A dental surgery, take-away and hairdresser will also be part of the scheme. The existing buildings will be knocked down to make way for the new units. A new supermarket is also to be built on land adjacent to Crossraguel, School Road, Kintore. But it is not known which chain will occupy the building.
