Mary Ryan had not been seen since Monday at 12.30pm, where she was spotted at the Guild Street bus station. The 78-year-old – a mother-of-four – was believed to have then boarded a bus to Aberdeenshire or Moray, possibly Elgin. Police Scotland has now confirmed that Ms Ryan has been traced in the Inverness area. Officers have thanked the public for their assistance.
