A motorcycle and a car were involved in the collision on the A96 Aberdeen to Inverness road, near to the airport, at around 5.15pm. Two ambulances were called to the scene following the incident. The motorcyclist, said to be in his 50s, was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with minor injuries. Traffic built up on the busy road as a result of the incident during rush hour. A police spokesman said it was “nothing serious”, adding: “The police and ambulance were on scene which caused traffic to build up.”
