Senior politicians arrived in Aberdeen on Wednesday evening as the build-up to the independence referendum continued with a debate in the city’s Music Hall.
Deputy first minister Nicola Sturgeon and pro-independence businessman, Sir Brian Souter, went head-to-head with Labour MP Jim Murphy and former leader of the Scottish Conservatives, Annabel Goldie.
And it didn’t take long for supporters from both Yes and No camps to take to social media to push their cause and praise what was considered a more interesting and informative debate than the previous battles between Alex Salmond and Alistair Darling.
Good wee debate tonight by informed people #indyref #aberdeen.
