The 32nd annual Grampian Motorcycle Convention has an action-packed programme of events set for this weekend.
The line-up at Alford’s Grampian Transport Museum showground this Sunday includes on-track Supermoto Racing, as well as Pursuit and Drag Racing.
Crowds can also enjoy seeing some of the latest biking machinery and superbikes. Classic racer demos will feature iconic Norton, Triumph, and AJS ranges.
Extreme motorcyclist, Kevin Carmichael, is set to thrill crowds as he performs some risky routines. Kevin is often referred to as Scotland’s number one stunt master.
Visitors can enjoy viewing some impressive customised bikes and costumed bikers. One favourite last year was an adult male moped racer dressed in black leather, with a fiery red coloured tutu and striking purple Mohawk wig stuck on to his helmet.
For young people there will be mini motos and, for the first time, a chance to learn to ride with the Honda My First Licence riding experience.
Gates open at 10am and activities start at 11. Admission for adults is £10, children £5 and concessions £7. Family tickets are available for £25.
