Adam Small died after his Honda Vision 110 scooter crashed on King’s Gate, near its junction with Forest Road, on Sunday, August 31, at around 5.50am. Nearby residents rushed to the aid of the 29-year-old, who was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. However, the former Hazlehead Academy pupil – who lived in Sheddocksley – could not be saved. Last week, his grieving family praised the diehard Aberdeen FC fan, saying he had “the heart of a lion”. His funeral service will be held tomorrow in the West Chapel of Aberdeen Crematorium, Hazlehead, at 11.45am Adam is survived by his parents, Shona and Mark Small, brothers Marc and Dylan and sister Jade.
