The alarm was raised around 10pm last night. Police attended sheltered housing in Coronation Road and the man, believed to be in his 20s, was taken to ARI by an ambulance crew. He later died in hospital. Another man, believed to be in his 60s, is understood to have received medical care. Police Scotland refused to discuss the circumstances surrounding his death. Officers are at the house as inquiries continue. A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “Police Scotland was called with concern for a man in Coronation Road last night at 9.56pm. “The man was taken to ARI where he later died. The investigation is ongoing.” Scottish Ambulance Service confirmed they received the call from police at 10.03pm and were at the scene by 10.15pm. A spokesman said the man had been injured but was unable to give further details at this stage.
