The first two happened during rush hour. A black Vauxhall Corsa and a red Rover 25 collided on the A944 Lyne of Skene to Dunecht road around 5pm. In a separate incident, a car and a van collided on the northbound carriageway of the A90 Aberdeen to Ellon road. The accident happened close to the Belhelvie junction at around 5.10pm. Later in the evening, a blue Subaru and a Landrover defender crashed on the B979 Maryculter to Peterculter road. Two vehicles also collided at the junction of Oldmeldrum Road and Muggiemoss Road in Aberdeen just after 8.30pm. Emergency services were called to attend each incident, but no serious injuries were reported.
