A north-east farmer has enlisted one his beasts to put across his belief that Scotland should remain in the United Kingdom.
Father of two Allan Moore, 35, spray painted the word No in giant letters on the side of his bull, Diego.
The 35-year-old, who farms near the village of Lonmay, near Fraserburgh, said he turned to the 140-stone bovine billboard after his traditional signs were wrecked.
Mr Moore, who moved to Scotland 25 years ago from Hull, is confident that Diego will see off even the most determined vandal.
“I wanted to support the No campaign, so I put up a sign and, in less than 24 hours, it was smashed,” he said.
“I tried to repair it and put it back, but it was pulled down again, so I decided, because it’s a free country, to push a bit harder. It’s basically to say ‘try and tamper with the bull’.”
