A new art exhibition in Aberdeenshire showcasing the best the area has to offer is under way.
The three-part exhibition, Triptych, features a host of work including submissions from world-renowned photographer Colin Prior and celebrated Stonehaven photographer Andy Hall as well as amateur artists.
Aberdeenshire Provost Jill Webster said: “The exhibition showcases the unique character of Aberdeenshire’s people and places and tells a strong story told by professional artists and the area’s residents.
“We have a lot to be proud of in Aberdeenshire but, living here, it’s sometimes easy for us to take the stunning landscapes and natural beauty we see every day for granted. These projects capture that distinctiveness and character of our area exceptionally well.”
The exhibition will be on show at Aboyne Community Centre until Thursday, and Inverurie Library until Friday.
From next Saturday, it will be on display at Ellon Library until October 9.
