Buses have been rerouted in Peterhead after Prince Charles’ royal helicopter landed at the side of the road.
The Duke of Rothesay is in the north-east today to visit a seafood firm in the Aberdeenshire town.
However, his arrival in the coastal community has led to some disruption for residents.
Stagecoach has confirmed it has had to divert services after his helicopter landed on the West Links just yards from Links Terrace.
The road remained opened throughout the landing and departure of the helicopter. It is unknown why the buses were diverted.
The decision resulted in the 82 bus route being diverted up West Road and then turning left up Cairntrodlie in Peterhead. It is understood the disruption lasted a short period.
