Charity leaders will meet business and public service heads tomorrow at a conference aimed at tackling some of the issues facing the north-east.
The Big Aberdeen Event, which is hosted by Aberdeen Council of Voluntary Organisations (Acvo), will take place at Pittodrie Stadium.
More than 180 representatives from different sectors will come together to brainstorm ideas and actions, as well as showcasing their work to the general public.
The event, which is being run in collaboration with Aberdeen Football Club, will also include a free family fun day featuring a host of activities such as a coconut shy, face-painting, complementary therapies, and the opportunity for pictures with the League Cup.
Visitors will also be able to learn more about the volunteering opportunities and support services available in Aberdeen from a range of different charities.
