Police are appealing for help to find thieves who stole a car from the car park of a north-east church.
The red Nissan Navara was taken from St Ninians and Forglen Parish Church, Turriff, last Wednesday between 8.30am and 9am.
It was recovered later on in the day near Whitehouse Street, Aberdeen.
Officers believe the car thieves may have used the A947 Banff to Aberdeen road to travel to the city.
A police spokeswoman said: “Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen this vehicle or have seen someone acting suspiciously in the area during these times.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you wish to remain anonymous.”
