A resident of Langdykes Cresent, Cove, reported the trapped bird of prey to the fire and rescue service at 7.20pm. A fire crew from Altens were sent to the scene to release the falcon following the call. A fire and rescue spokesman said: “We sent a pump and then the SSPCA were there as well.” It is thought the SSPCA allowed the bird to fly away after it was released.
