It is understood Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance was called to the incident to assist ambulance ground crews. Witnesses saw the organisation’s helicopter landing in open ground beside the graveyard around 3.15pm. The young girl was flown to the hospital accompanied by her mother 15 minutes later. Her condition is not currently known. The flight to ARI took around 10 minutes, while a road journey between the same two areas could take as long as 45 minutes. An SCAA teddy was also taken along on the flight, to provide a source of comfort for the toddler during her trip.
