Police are treating the death of a woman found in Bridge of Don on Friday as unexplained.
The 58-year-old was found at a property on Ashwood Crescent around 6am on Friday.
A neighbour said: “On Friday morning there were about four police cars on the street.
“A body was removed at around 5.15pm on Friday night. A couple lived there. They kept themselves to themselves. You don’t expect something like that to happen in a small community like this.”
Forensics officers were seen in the area following the discovery, as officers try to establish the circumstances surrounding the death.
A police spokeswoman said: “Tests have been carried out and it will be a couple of weeks for the results to come back.
“This will help us establish a better picture of what has happened to her.
“A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
