Man attacked outside Stonehaven pub

A man was taken to hospital with facial injuries today after being assaulted outside a Stonehaven pub.

The 26-year-old was outside the Hook and Eye on Allardice Street when he was attacked by another man at about 1am.

He suffered minor facial injuries and was taken to hospital.

The culprit is described as being in his mid to late 20s, about 6ft, of slim to medium build with short light brown or blond hair.

He was wearing a white T-shirt with a blue logo, dark jeans and white trainers.

It is believed he made off towards Dunnottar Avenue after the assault.
