Police are seeking thieves who stole from cars and garages in an Aberdeenshire town this week.
The thefts happened between 6.30pm on Tuesday October 7 and 7am on Wednesday October 8 in Kintore.
Electrical devices and accessories amounting to a three-figure sum of money are said to have been taken from three cars in the Birch Wood and Wyness areas.
Sporting equipment amounting to more than £1000 was also stolen from two garages in the Torryburn area.
Investigating Officer, Sam Goldie, said: “It appears that these incidents are both linked and we continue to remind local residents to secure their cars and garages and by doing so they will deter these criminals.
“It is thought that the persons responsible for these crimes would be operating during the late evenings to the early hours of the morning. We would ask local residents to be vigilant of anything suspicious and contact the police immediately.”
Anyone with information about the incidents is being urged to contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
