The accident took place on the A90 Aberdeen to Peterhead road, near its junction with the B977 Balmedie to Belhelvie road just after 9.15pm. An ambulance spokesman said: “We got that call at 9.30pm, it was a two vehicle road accident and we’ve taken in a young child with minor injuries.” A police spokesman described it as a “minor incident”. The crash did not cause any road closures or traffic problems.
