Passengers flying to Aberdeen from Amsterdam today were met by firefighters on the runway.
Two fire crews from North Anderson Drive, one from Aberdeen Central and an incident support unit from Dyce were called to the scene at 11.15am to deal with a spillage, described as a “technical issue”.

Passengers were able to disembark the plane as normal.
A fire and rescue spokesman said they boarded the aircraft with gas-tight suits after it landed.
A spokeswoman for the airport described the incident as “minor” and stressed it had no impact on the passengers.
