A north-east cancer charity is appealing to the public to help make its Christmas fundraising wishes come true.
CLAN Cancer Support is holding its annual Christmas Cracker ball next month, and is inviting businesses and local people to donate auction prizes for the popular event.
Some of the prizes already going under the hammer include a stay at a villa in either Spain or Tenerife and a weekend at Logie House in Inverurie.
More than 400 people attended the event last year, raising a record-breaking £124,000 in the process.
Every penny raised goes towards CLAN’s free support services to anyone affected by cancer across the north and north-east of Scotland.
Susan Crighton, CLAN’s fundraising manager, said: “The Christmas Cracker Ball is shaping up to be the best yet and we are all so looking forward to it.
“Everyone at CLAN is so grateful for the fantastic level of support that companies and individuals from the north-east give to us, and we are hoping they will help by making a donation.
“We are particularly on the lookout for prizes for the silent auction, which always proves popular, and we are keen to offer even more prizes this year.
“This can be anything worth £100 upwards, and on the other side of the scale, we are also hoping for more donations for the tombola, which can be anything from £5.”
The ball is being held on Saturday, November 22, at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC).
