Police in Aberdeen are appealing for witnesses after the 41-year-old was attacked in the Brierfield Terrace area of the city at about 11pm on Tuesday. The culprits approached their victim and had a conversation with him before launching their assault. They then walked towards Cairncry Road. The victim was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Police say the pair are both in their 20s, and were wearing dark clothing. One is described as being about 5ft 6ins and the other 6ft. Detective Constable Gillian McPake said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who saw these men or knows who they are. “Also, if you were in the area at the time and have dash-cam footage or any other information that might help our investigation please get in touch.” Anyone who can assist officers should contact 101, quoting incident number 3720 of Tuesday, 25 January, or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
