Police have revealed the type of vehicle involved in a collision which killed a pregnant mother-on-one on a dual carriageway close to her north-east home.
Stephanie Charles died after being struck by a grey Audi RS3 car on the southbound carriageway of the busy A90 Aberdeen-Dundee road.
The 33-year-old died at the scene of the accident close to Nigg Way in Aberdeen’s Kincorth area.
Yesterday police renewed their appeal for witnesses to the accident, which happened at around 7.10pm on Saturday.
The driver and passengers in the car were not hurt.
Ms Charles, who was five months pregnant and had a 10-year-old daughter, left the Gardner Crescent home she shared with partner Mark Robertson to go to the shop to get food.
Mr Robertson said “his whole world had just collapsed” the moment police told him about the tragedy.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have seen the victim beforehand, can contact police on 101.
