It has since been confirmed that a man has died in the accident. Local diversions are being set up and the road is closed on the A90 at the junction of the B9032 to Memsie and at the Tesco roundabout. Police were informed of the collision at 3.20pm and the Scottish Ambulance Service and Scottish Fire and Rescue Service are also attending. A spokesman for the police described the accident as “serious” and said: “A police investigation is taking place at the scene.” A spokeswoman for the ambulance service said: “One patient has been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.”
