The Met Office has issued a yellow “be aware” warning of rain for Grampian for tonight and tomorrow morning.
It is warning that rain, which will be “locally rather heavy at times”, will spread south-westwards into eastern Scotland during this evening and into tomorrow.
A Met Office spokesman said: “Following recent wet weather, this additional rainfall means that the public should be aware of an increased risk of surface water and spray.”
He added: “Rain is expected to turn heavy for a time as an active front edges into the area from the North Sea.
“There are larger than average uncertainties over rainfall amounts and many places are likely to see little disruption.
“However, given recent wet weather, there is a risk of local impacts.”
The warning is valid from 9pm this evening to 9am tomorrow.
