Police have carried out a massive clampdown on illegal drugs across Aberdeen this week.
As part of Operation Maple, officers have seized more than £23,000 of class A drugs and £14,000 of class B drugs in the past two days.
As a result of the intelligence-led operation, a 41-year old man and a 40-year old woman have been reported to the procurator fiscal for allegedly being concerned in the production and supply of controlled drugs.
Elsewhere, an 18-year old man from the London area and a 23-year old woman from the Edinburgh area will appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court tomorrow for allegedly being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
Operation Maple is a multi-agency partnership initiative that brings together partners from the voluntary and public sectors such as the Scottish Government, NHS Grampian, Aberdeen City Council and several third sector organisations to proactively tackle street-level drug dealers.
