A 24-year-old man has been arrested following a two-car crash on the A96 Aberdeen to Inverurie road.
Police were called to an incident near Kirkhill Forest at around 7pm on Saturday after a vehicle reportedly failed to stop.
It is understood the incident caused another car to spin out of the road and fall into a ditch.
Officers confirmed a 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection with road traffic offences and will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
A police spokesman said: “Officers attended a crash involving two vehicles on the A96 near Kirkhill Forest junction between Aberdeen and Inverurie around 7.10pm on Saturday, March 19.
“One of the vehicles failed to stop at the scene and was subsequently traced by officers.
“An 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection with road traffic offences and will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.”
