Two people were taken to hospital following a three-vehicle collision on an Aberdeenshire road.
The emergency services were called to the crash involving a Moray-registered Saab taxi, a Renault Clio and another vehicle near Huntly at 5.40pm last night.
The accident happened on the junction between the A96 Aberdeen to Keith road and the A97 Huntly to Aberchirder.
Two fire appliances were called to the scene from Huntly and Aberchirder and crews used cutting gear to free one casualty.
The road was closed while the police, fire and ambulance services were at the scene.
