A festive craft fair will bring a touch of Christmas magic to a historic Aberdeenshire castle next month.
Christmas wreaths will be among the items on sale as Holly Fest kicks off at Drum Castle during the first weekend of December.
The event will feature a selection of crafts made from Drumoak’s very own holly plants.
A giant advent calendar made by the local schools will also be on show and children will be able to pay a visit to the elves’ toy factory and a Christmas fairy wishing tree.
A few early treats may also be on offer from Santa Claus himself.
The castle’s 15th century brew house will be open for adults to sample the alcohol-free mulled wine.
Drum Castle senior assistant, Kris Bruce, said: “Drum Castle at Christmas is simply magical. We’ll have plenty of elves, fairies and fun on hand to help folk get into the festive spirit.”
The event runs on Saturday and Sunday, December 6 and 7, and again on December 13 and 14 from 11am until 4pm. Entry is £4 for adults, £2 for children or £10 for a family.
