A north-east hairdresser has been awarded one of the industry’s highest accolades.
Philip Bell, from Ishoka Hair and Beauty in Aberdeen, was crowned Scottish Hairdresser of the Year at the 30th British Hairdressing Awards in London.
The city stylist, who has won the award twice before, joins previous winners including Trevor Sorbie, John Frieda, Andrew Collinge, Nicky Clarke and Charles Worthington in the hairdressing hall of fame.
Mr Bell said he was “overwhelmed”.
“It means the world not only to me but to my team and clients, and I am absolutely on top of the world,” he said.
“This is my third time winning Scottish Hairdresser of the Year and now means I have inducted to the hall of fame.”
