Power cut hits 130 Aberdeen homes

Around 130 houses are in darkness following a power cut in Aberdeen.

Properties in the Milltimber area have been affected by the black-out which happened around 7.30pm.

A spokesman for Scottish and Southern Energy said engineers had located the problem and are working hard to get power restored.

“We would like to apologies for any inconvenience cause,” he said.

“We have identified the fault and what we need to do to fix it.

“We hope it will be restored in the next hour.”
