Aberdeen Donside MSP Mark McDonald will be holding his first school-based surgery at Northfield Academy tomorrow.
The SNP politician already holds regular sessions with members of the public in his constituency office, local community centres and sheltered housing complexes.
By holding a surgery in Northfield Academy during the school day, he said he hoped to be able to engage directly with young people.
He said: “The overwhelming involvement of young people in the referendum was inspiring and it was great to see so many make their voices heard.
“While many of the pupils at Northfield will not be old enough to vote, they are still my constituents and I want to know what their aspirations and ideas are for making their community a better place, and how I can help them deliver that.”
