Wandering cow causes delays on A90

Motorists faced delays on the A90 Aberdeen to Dundee this morning after a cow became stranded on the road.

Police were called to the incident near the Netherly turn-off at Stonehaven just after 10.30am.

But it emerged that the animal had travelled to near the Durris turn-off between Muchalls and Portlethen.

By 10.45pm police confirmed that the cow was back in its field.
