The blaze started in the hallway of flats on Loirston Place, Torry, around 7.40pm. Three fire appliances from Aberdeen Central and Altens were called to the scene and contained the blaze by 8pm. The young girl was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary to be treated for smoke inhalation. It is understood the fire broke out in the landing of the property.
