Police will be carrying out “strict searches” at Pittodrie this weekend for alcohol, pyrotechnics, offensive flags and banners.
Ahead of the Scottish Premiership match between the Dons and Hamilton Accies, officers have urged fans to enjoy the game safely and responsibly.
The force said it is working with both clubs to ensure supporter behaviour is under control before, after and during the match.
Fans have been warned that anyone found in possession of alcohol or pyrotechnics inside the stadium will be arrested and may appear at court.
Chief Inspector Nick Topping, Match Commander, said: “This game has all the makings of a great Scottish Premiership match and Police Scotland are looking forward to welcoming fans to the ground on Saturday.
“Resources from across Police Scotland will be assisting local officers in minimising disorder and keeping people safe throughout the afternoon.”
