The orange Mini Cooper overturned and landed on its roof following the crash on Hilton Drive at 6.41am. The road was closed between Western Road and Anderson Avenue until the vehicle was cleared at shortly before 9am. The male driver was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary by ambulance. A police spokeswoman said his injuries were minor. Two fire engines from North Anderson Drive also attended and helped to make the vehicle safe.
