A driver has been arrested after a 130mph police chase on the A96 Aberdeen to Inverness road.
Police stopped the vehicle in Blackburn in Aberdeenshire on Saturday at about 10.30pm.
A tweet from officers said the car engine revving nearby attracted attention amid reports the “exhaust flamed”.
It was dark at the checkpoint. He thought it a good idea to rev nearby and attract attention. The exhaust flamed. It attracted attention. #NERPU deployed to "have a word." Ended up following him over the #A96#Tyrebagger at 130mph. @COPFS will now be "having a word." pic.twitter.com/yE7sKjtPHF
