A driver has been arrested after a 130mph police chase on the A96 Aberdeen to Inverness road.
Police stopped the vehicle in Blackburn in Aberdeenshire on Saturday at about 10.30pm.
A tweet from officers said the car engine revving nearby attracted attention amid reports the “exhaust flamed”.

The social media post said officers then “followed” the car on the Tyrebagger at 130mph before it was stopped.
A police spokesman said: “The car was stopped in Blackburn around 10.30pm on Saturday, 7 May.
“The driver was a 25-year-old male and he is subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.”
