The building tools were stolen from a shed in the Wishart Court area of Laurencekirk on Tuesday, between 6pm and 6.30pm. Police say the tools were then used to try and enter a neighbouring property. Anyone who saw anyone acting suspiciously, or has any information, should call the police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
