Police have confirmed that the death of a man whose body was found in an Aberdeen street this morning is not being treated as suspicious.
The body of the 58-year-old was discovered outside a house in Deansloch Terrace by a member of the public.
A police spokesman said: “We were called at 7am and we attended along with the ambulance, but the male was found to be dead.
“We are treating the death as unexplained until the post-mortem examination is carried out, but there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.”
He would not comment on the possible cause of the man’s death or say whether he was local to the Aberdeen area.
