Train services in Aberdeen are returning to normal following a police incident at the city’s station.
Emergency teams were called to Aberdeen train station around 6.10pm this evening following concerns for a man.
Police and firefighters were both in attendance.
All rail services departing from Aberdeen were cancelled by ScotRail for several hours as crews dealt with the incident.
Trains bound for Inverness, Inverurie and the central belt were all impacted by the incident.
Rail bosses have now confirmed that emergency teams have “declared it safe” for services to depart the station.

However, ScotRail are warning customers of expect disruption as they work to return to normal service.
In a statement, published on their website, they wrote: “The emergency services have declared it safe to run our trains at Aberdeen.
“Disruption to services may still be ongoing until our staff and trains are back in position.”
In an earlier statement, a police spokeswoman said: “Officers are in attendance at Guild Street, Aberdeen following a report of concern for a man, which was received around 6.10pm.”
