Come Boxing Day, most of us are wrapped up warm at home nursing hangovers brought on by either too much booze or too much Christmas dinner.
But that wasn’t the case for the hundreds of brave Aberdonians who donned their goofiest fancy dress and plunged into the frigid North Sea this morning for charity.
With a final countdown by the Lord Provost George Adam, the nearly 300 registered nippy dippers plowed into the 6C surf, which was actually slightly warmer than the 2C air temperature.
