The upturned vessel in the Pentland Firth has now sunk and is no longer visible above water.
Coastguard rescue teams and helicopters remain on the scene as the search for crew members continues, however, the RNLI lifeboat team from Wick have returned to the shore after the conclusion of the search in the area they had been tasked with.
The Cypriot registered ‘Cemfjord’ was spotted overturned yesterday by a passing ferry and was last seen passing through the Pentland Firth on Friday afternoon, but had not been heard from since.
It is understood there were eight people on board.
