An inflatable dinghy, believed to be from the Cemfjord cargo ship, has washed up on-shore in Orkney.
A major search and rescue operation is currently ongoing to find the missing crew of the vessel, which was spotted overturned in the North Sea yesterday afternoon.
Coastguard rescue teams and helicopters remain on the scene as the search continues, however, the RNLI lifeboat team from Wick have returned to the shore after the conclusion of the search in the area they had been tasked with.
The Cypriot registered ‘Cemfjord’ was glimpsed by a passing ferry and was last seen passing through the Pentland Firth on Friday afternoon, but had not been heard from since.
