A Scottish accounting firm has raised almost £21,000 for charity after a busy year of fundraising.
Staff from Johnston Carmichael presented representatives from their 2014 charity partner Guide Dogs Scotland with a cheque for £18,960.
Employees Lynsey Taylor, Kim Dawson and Heather Goldsworthy accumulated more than £6,000 of donations after successfully completing the London Marathon.
Fundraising efforts also included a blind senses challenge and Christmas jumper competition.
Guide Dogs Scotland’s Kyla Stratton said: “This money is very much appreciated and will go towards the important work we do in support of visually impaired people throughout Scotland.”
In appreciation of their efforts, the Johnston Carmichael team have been given the opportunity to name two new guide puppies in 2015.
Staff at the company’s Fraserburgh office also raised £1,900 for Friends of Anchor (Aberdeen and North Centre for Haematology, Oncology and Radiotherapy) following a successful charity dance in November.
