A new associate head of Robert Gordon University’s pharmaceutical school has been appointed.
Dr Susan Duthie has joined RGU’s School of Pharmacy and Life Sciences after working as a principal research scientist for Aberdeen University’s Rowett Research Institute of Nutrition and Health.
She specialises in nutritional factors that influence cancer, vascular disease and dementia.
RGU has also announced its annual Professor and Reader Awards.
The professors honoured were Dr Simon Burnett of RGU’s Research Institute for Management Governance and Society and Dr Lesley Diack, of the university’s School of Pharmacy and Life Sciences.
The academic readers recognised with awards were Dr Giovanna Bermano of RGU’s institute for Health and Wellbeing Research, Dr Andrew Lamb of RGU’s School of Pharmacy and Life Sciences, and Dr Kay Cooper of RGU’s School of Health Sciences.
