A woman has been jailed for a month after she butted a G4S security officer in the dock of a court.
Hannah Snow attacked Kevin Gilchrist on October 29 after she was given a 14-month prison sentence at Aberdeen Sheriff Court.
As the security officer was attempting to handcuff the 22-year-old to lead her away to the cells she reacted violently and assaulted him.
Yesterday, the court heard that after the attack Snow was restrained and taken away to be cautioned and arrested.
Representing the repeat offender, solicitor Neil McRobert said his client had since apologised to Mr Gilchrist for her actions, which left him with a cut to his lip.
Sheriff Annella Cowan jailed Snow, of 53 Seaton Walk, Aberdeen, for 30 days.
