Supermarket chain Sainsbury’s is set to take over a family-run store in Cults.
Kelly of Cults on North Deeside Road could be transformed into a Sainsbury’s local shop by the summer, if plans are approved.
The business has been in the same family for four generations.
Sainsbury’s has entered into an agreement with the Kelly family, who will still own the building, it is understood.
Nicholas Kelly, managing director of Kelly of Cults said: “The decision by my family to lease the shop was one taken after long and careful consideration, and only once it had been confirmed that Sainsbury’s would be the new operator.”
