Renowned mountaineer Peter Wright will give a talk in Aberdeen this week.
Mr Wright’s will speak about his 745-mile walk across the divide between the Scottish rivers that flow into the Atlantic and the rivers that flow into the North Sea, also known as the Scottish Watershed.
The mountaineer, who is one of six people to have walked the Watershed, also promotes and develops the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme for the benefit of disadvantaged youngsters.
The presentation, hosted by the The North East Mountain Trust, will be held on Wednesday January 14 from 7.30pm at the Sportsman’s Club on Queen’s Road.
Tickets cost £4, and non-members are welcome.
